Director

One thing you might not know about Blane Erwin is that his favorite meal is breakfast for dinner. Another thing you might not know is that Erwin and his long-time coach, Pat O’Donnell, designed a complete software product on a drive from Houston to Austin that has generated $4M to date—it’s only a 2.5 hour drive. As a twenty-five year industry veteran, his experience in technology strategy, market research, and business assessment contributed significantly to Bridgeway Software’s growth. While at Bridgeway, Erwin directed the company’s long-range research and innovation efforts. He is now bringing his love of innovation and team building to his new venture, kReveal.

Blane joined Bridgeway in 1998 from Forrester Research, Inc. where he was the director of Business Trade and Technology Strategies. While at Forrester, he advised senior executives at firms like Bank of America, General Electric, Lucent, and 3M on the impact of technology on long-range business strategy. He has also been quoted in Business Week, Fortune, and The Wall Street Journal. An inspired home chef, Erwin dreams of possibly going back to culinary school one day—maybe near the ocean so he can indulge in another favorite escape of his—scuba diving.

Erwin has been a popular speaker on law department performance for diverse audiences, including the American Bar Association, the Association for Corporate Counsel, the Corporate E-Discovery Forum, the Society for Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals and the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association. Blane holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

At kReveal, Erwin thrives on the challenge of keeping all the moving parts performing at their highest levels. The fact that he is fortunate enough to have an exceptional, seasoned team of brilliant designers, project managers, computer scientists, sales, administrative and client services talent makes it all the sweeter.
