Alex Hoover is a rare breed. A lawyer and a gifted creator of great technology experiences, he has a natural ability to blend the art of contract language with the science of software design. As a principal at kReveal, Hoover leads the creative development of our customer experience, product mock-ups, and workflow design.
Alex knows his way around a contract or two: Prior to joining KMstandards and the kReveal team, Alex worked at the Association of Corporate Counsel, where he was integral in the development of the ACC Contract Advisor. He also clerked with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, reviewing and drafting complex loan guarantee agreements between the U.S. Government and private investors. Alex received his JD degree from the American University Washington College of Law.
It’s not always strictly business with Hoover as his not-so-serious side can’t live without enchiladas, his iPhone and his favorite shirt, which he describes as “real nice”. A comedian at heart, Hoover looks up to Bill Murray. The first thing he thinks about when he wakes up in the morning is “how much longer can I sleep before I will be in a rush to get to work.” One of the biggest assets Hoover brings to the kReveal team is his flexibility—oh, and his very high regard for enchiladas.
Along with the many hats that he wears at kReveal, Alex also keeps a full schedule as VP, Client Services at KMStandards. There he creates and maintains model legal documents containing standard and alternative provisions, conducts training sessions for other analysts and sales personnel and uses his talent as a product manager to assist in software development through user interface and concept development. Alex is a ‘soup to nuts’ man, a jack-of-all-trades who manages an extensive legal database and ensures that client’s needs are met and exceeded. And his favorite shirt is real nice.
