The Architect

Gullion wakes up every morning at 6:00am to his beloved welsh corgis demanding breakfast. A lover of any gadget he can talk to, a dedicated collector of Simpsons episodes and a money clip collector, Steve Gullion brings the unique perspective of being a former lawyer to the legal software development world. Over twenty years ago, Gullion stopped practicing law to follow his true passion: writing code.

Since stepping away from actively practicing law, Gullion has been developing software for both large and small companies, commercially and in-house. Gullion has planned and implemented an array of products, from corporate records automation and case management for corporate legal departments to natural gas and weather derivatives trading systems to a SaaS-based contract management system. Gullion proudly boasts technical expertise in countless programming languages, development platforms and database architectures. His experience working in the realm of law coupled with many years of thinking about contracts from a programming perspective gives Gullion unique insight into the power of contract analytics. Steve is a generous leader who makes it look easy to do the real heavy lifting of writing the kReveal software. Always.

Other than his love of technology and programming, Gullion has an affinity for eggs over easy with sausage, biscuits smothered in cream gravy and homegrown tomatoes. It’s not surprising then that one of his favorite places to travel other than Ireland is Western North Carolina—home to some of the best southern cooking outside of Texas. It is also important to note that one of Gullion’s most prized possessions is his Florida Gator orange drink fridge festooned with a life-size image of Tim Tebow.
